One office, one chart, the whole household. Dr. David and Dr. Moriah adjust newborns, grandparents and everyone in between, matching the force used to the person on the table.
Prenatal Care
Dr. Moriah is Webster Certified and cares for mothers before, during and after pregnancy, easing the low back and pelvic strain that comes with a changing center of gravity.
Pediatric Care
Parents bring children to us for colic, torticollis, growing pains and sports knocks. Adjustments for young patients are very gentle, and we explain what we are doing before we do it.
Lower Back Pain
Low back pain and sciatica are the two reasons Jackson patients call us most. We look at what is loading the joint, not only at where it hurts, then build a plan around it.
Neck Pain
Desk posture, a night on the wrong pillow, a rear-end collision on the way home. We restore neck movement and settle the muscle tension that came with it.

This is our hometown. We are open Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm at 850 Laurence Ave, we work with most major insurances, and we can often fit a new patient in the same week. Patients come to us from Spring Arbor, Grass Lake, Michigan Center, Napoleon and Brooklyn.

When is your Jackson office open?
We see patients Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 8am to 1pm at 850 Laurence Ave Ste 2. The Saturday morning session suits people who cannot step away from work midweek. We are closed Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, so it is worth booking your next visit before you leave.
Which doctor will I see?
Dr. David Severance DC, ND or Dr. Moriah Severance DC, ND. They are husband and wife, both are chiropractors and naturopathic doctors, and both are taking new patients. Dr. Moriah is Webster Certified, so pregnancy visits are usually booked with her. If you would rather see one of them, say so when you book and we will match the day to the doctor.
How do I book an appointment?
Book yourself in online through our Jane App page at any hour, or call or text the office at 517-581-2785 and we will find you a slot. Tell us it is your first visit so we can hold the longer appointment a new patient exam needs. You do not need a referral to come and see us.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of the medications and supplements you take, since our naturopathic side of the practice will ask about both. If another provider has taken imaging or run bloodwork for this problem, bring the report. Wear something you can bend and move in comfortably.
What insurance do you accept?
We participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna and United Healthcare. We also take Medicaid plans including Molina, Meridian, Blue Cross Complete, Aetna Better Health and United Community Plan, and Medicare plans including Medicare Plus Blue Advantage, Aetna Medicare Advantage and Humana. We are actively seeking participation with Blue Care Network. Call 517-581-2785 and we will check your plan before your first visit.

Most of our patients live in Jackson, and others drive in from Spring Arbor, Grass Lake, Chelsea, Albion, Springport, Michigan Center, Parma, Vandercook Lake, Napoleon and Brooklyn. Our office is at 850 Laurence Ave Ste 2 in Jackson. We are one of three offices in the practice group, so if Holt or Lansing is closer to you, we can point you there instead.
