Digital X-Rays in Jackson, Michigan

On-site digital imaging that helps our doctors evaluate your spine and build a treatment plan around you.

Imaging That Guides Your Care

Our office is equipped with digital X-ray technology, so when imaging is part of your care, we can capture it on the spot. X-rays are not required for every new patient - Dr. David and Dr. Moriah determine whether they are needed based on your history, physical exam, and clinical judgment at your visit.

When imaging is called for, digital X-rays are quick and low-radiation, giving our doctors a clear picture of your spine and musculoskeletal health to help build a treatment plan tailored to you. If more advanced imaging, such as an MRI, is ever clinically indicated, we can coordinate your care by referring you to your primary care provider or the appropriate specialist.

This often comes up for auto accident patients, whose injuries may call for imaging to help document and guide their recovery.

  • On-site imaging, so there is no need to schedule a separate appointment elsewhere
  • Low-radiation digital technology built with patient safety in mind
  • Detailed images that support an accurate diagnosis
  • Used, when appropriate, to track your progress over the course of care

Common Questions

Do I need X-rays at my first visit?

Not always. X-rays are not required for every new patient - whether they are needed depends on your history, physical exam, and clinical judgment during your visit. We only order imaging when it will meaningfully guide your care.

Are digital X-rays safe?

Yes. Digital X-ray technology uses significantly less radiation than older film-based X-rays, so the exposure is minimal while still giving your doctor the detail needed to guide your care.

Will my insurance cover X-rays?

Coverage depends on your plan and whether the imaging is deemed medically necessary. Give our office a call at (517) 581-2785 and we will help you understand your coverage before your visit.
